This staple red blend from Espelt is mature and full on the nose, palate and finish. Black cherry jam, barnyard, wood chips, coffee notes on the nose. Same cherries on the palate are joined by blackberry, prune essence, high acidity, and tannins that accumulate. Despite the body and the alcohol amount, it benefits from being slightly chilled.
