Aged for 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.

One of the most outstanding wines tasted in DO Empordà. Ripe black cherries and blackberries, cream, chokeberry pie, mild spice and sweet pepper on the nose. Delicate red berries on the palate with a strawberry and peppercorn combo. A long finish of licorice jam and spices. The wine is balanced to perfection, complex and robust. The 2012 vintage is absolutely fantastic.
